Heather Angell's Portfolio — Sunwing Vacations

When airline and travel company Sunwing Vacations opened a pop-up store, their goal was to transport visitors to a tropical destination and entice them to explore all of the vacation options that Sunwing has to offer. The highlight of the store was the Vacation Finder table.

When airline and travel company Sunwing Vacations opened a pop-up store, their goal was to transport visitors to a tropical destination and entice them to explore a range of vacation options.

The highlight of the store was the Vacation Finder table — a multi-user touch table that helped visitors find the perfect resort. The table also captured valuable data for client.

The project had a number of interesting challenges. The first being the integration of a physical boarding pass that visitors used to initiate the experience. In addition, the table had to accommodate up to six users and the deliver an intuitive user flow. Working with the lead designer Niël Havemann, we created a seamless experience from paper prototypes to the final design that addressed all of the challenges, within a tight timeline.
