NAMARA represents is a creative agency founded by Natalie MacNamara which represents award-winning photojournalists and documentary photographers. Our team worked closely with Natalie to design the new agency's identity and website.
It was clear from the beginning that the photographers’ images would be included in all aspects of the brand. As such, the logo needed to be simple so not to compete with their work. For times when the logo requires less or more precedence, the mark has multiple versions so it can seamlessly move from background to foreground.
The brand's primary color palette was kept simple: black and white. As a playful element, we created a custom email signature that is randomized to serve up various versions of the logo with each message.
For the website, myself and the development team worked closely to ensure the best experience for both the user and client, as she would be doing all of the updates after launch. The site is fully-responsive and follows the same minimal sensibilities as the identity. The resulting experience is photo-rich and maintains the integrity of every image on all devices.
